The Jungle Book
by Rudyard Kipling
Following our hugely successful 2010 run of Alice in Wonderland, Shooting Stars were asked back again last year, bringing the perennial much-loved children's classic: The Jungle Book. Very much like last year, the entire cast spent the Easter Weekend doing workshops and interacting with the guests of the park. All of the favourite characters were there, drawing lots of squeals of delight from their young fans!
Alice In Wonderland
by Lewis Carroll
This enchanting production took place at The Lincolnshire Butterfly and Wildlife Park in 2010. Although mainly aimed at children, we had very positive feedback from audience members of all ages! Our lovely cast spent the entire weekend working at the park: running games, workshops and welcoming the
guests. This weekend was very well received and led to Shooting Stars Theatre Company being invited back in 2011 & 2012 for a similar production.
The Memory of Water
by Shelagh Stevenson
This dark comedy won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy in 2000. It has been performed three times by Shooting Stars Theatre Company - in May 2008, February 2009 and February 2010 - each time gaining a fantastic reception. The 2010 performance took place at The Hen and Chicken's Theatre in Highbury & Islington. This performance was Shooting Stars Theatre Company's first production in London and proved to be a resounding success, gaining a wonderful review.
